The Red Rock Balloon Rally is a seasonal festival in Gallup, New Mexico, at Red Rock Park. The second-largest ballooning event in the world, where more than 200 balloons lift off near Gallup each December in a landscape of red sandstone mesas. Pilots compete for fine Native American art and crafts, and spectators are encouraged to join chase crews.
