The MerleFest is a music festival in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, at Wilkes Community College. The 2026 event takes place Apr 23–26, 2026. One of America's premier roots-music gatherings, MerleFest brings four days of 'traditional plus' performances to twelve stages on the Wilkes Community College campus. Founded in memory of Eddy Merle Watson, the 38th festival in 2026 features headliners including Alison Krauss & Union Station, Old Crow Medicine Show, Charles Wesley Godwin, and Blackberry Smoke.
