Fool's Rules Regatta
About this event
The Fool's Rules Regatta is a cultural festival in Narragansett, Rhode Island, at Easton's Beach (First Beach). A delightfully absurd Narragansett Bay tradition in which teams race homemade, non-motorized vessels built from found materials and sheer optimism. Part engineering contest and part comedy, the regatta draws huge crowds to First Beach for one of Rhode Island's quirkiest and most photogenic summer spectacles.
