The Original Gullah Festival is a cultural festival in Beaufort, South Carolina, at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. The 2026 event takes place May 22–25, 2026. A landmark Memorial Day weekend celebration of Gullah Geechee heritage on the Beaufort waterfront, featuring storytelling, jazz, blues, reggae, African drumming, artisan markets, and traditional Lowcountry cuisine. Educational programs including Lest We Forget and The Decoration Day Play preserve Sea Island history for families, reunion groups, and visitors from across the country.
