The He Sapa Wacipi Na Oskate (Black Hills Powwow) is a cultural festival in Rapid City, South Dakota, at The Monument. The 2026 event takes place Oct 9–11, 2026. One of the largest powwows in the nation and a vibrant celebration of Great Plains Indigenous culture in Rapid City. Three days of contest dancing, drumming, a downtown parade, artisan vendors, handgame tournaments, and Wacipi 101 sessions draw dancers and spectators from across North America each October.
